Dance World Cup 2005

for children and junior dance students up to the age of 17 years

June 17 – 19, 2005, Theatre Capitol, Wroclaw, Poland

300 dance students from 10 different countries and four continents had qualified for the Dance World Cup 2005.

They met in the beautiful Capitol Theatre in Wroclaw for a three day competition. In all categories the level had been high. Many of the young dancers showed brilliant talent.

The members of the jury were
Maria Kijak, Andrzej Stasiewicz, Mariola Hendrykowska, all Poland, Christian Toberentz, Germany

• Dance with the highest points of all classical ballet dances:

• Dance with the highest points of all modern and jazz dances:

• Dance with the highest points of all tap dances:

• Special Award for the most outstanding female dancer:
  Dominique Lucianie Mombrun Leyva, "Balanz" Academia de danza, Guadalajara, Mexico
• Special Award for the most outstanding male dancer:
  Clemens Amtmann, Ballettschule Romeo & Julia, Klagenfurt, Austria
• One week scholarship in Wilderness Dance Camp, USA:
  Sonia, Ben Amara, Musicalschule Korinna Söhn, München, Germany
• Special Award for promising talent donated by the theatre Capitol, Wroclaw:
  Inês Rodrigues, Companhia de Dança do Algarve, Faro, Portugal
