The Dance World Cup 2008 will take place June 26 – July 1, 2008 in Vancouver, Canada. The responsible host for this Dance World Cup is 5-6-7-8 Showtime Inc., Mrs. Mona D’Amours

 


Schools and dancers from the following countries registered so far:

Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan, Poland, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Germany, Nigeria, Congo, Mexico, Japan, Latvia


The beautiful town Jalta on the peninsula Crimea at the Black Sea in Ukraine will host the Dance World Cup 2007. All participants will stay together in a "sanatorium" in two- or three-bed rooms. The competition itself will take place in the same location, so there will be no travel problems from the hotel to the theatre. Apart from that it will be a wonderful sharing of all the young dance students and their teachers and coaches from all over the world not only during the competition itself but also during the free time.

Gala of the Winners: Sunday, June, 3, 2007, 19:00

Here is some general important information:

It is still possible to enter dances. So far we have many registrations from schools from all over the world. Take your chance and register quickly. You may register by E-Mail

The closest airport is in Simferopol. Transfer from Airport to Jalta and back for groups of 15 people costs Euro 400,- as a total.

Cost for accommodation:
May, 31 – June 4, Euro 125,- for bed and breakfast per person, every additional night costs Euro 25,- . Accompanying people have to pay Euro 28,- per day. It is possible to arrive earlier or to stay longer after the competition.
Full board, that is lunch and dinner cost an additional 6,- Euro per day and per person.

 

Entries should preferably be made by the national representatives of the countries.
Entries from schools in Portugal, here, please. (Schools must have participated and gained 1st or 2nd place in national competition.)
Entries from all other countries, here, please. (Schools from Germany, Austria, Poland, France, Italy, Nigeria, must have participated and gained 1st or 2nd place in national competition.)
Schools from Russia register here, please.
Schools from other countries, please, contact us directly.

Entries should be made through the national representatives. Closing date for entries is April 30, 2006.
