It is my pleasure to introduce to you the Dance World Cup, the one and only
big international dance competition mainly for children and junior dance students
from all over the world.
This competition offers classes in the following styles of dance:
- Classical Ballet and Demi Character Dance
- Modern and Contemporary Dance
- Jazz Dance and Hip Hop
- National, Folklore and Character Dance
- Tap Dance
- Song and Dance
- Musical Mime
You may enter solo dances, duets, trios and group dances, all of them in different
The Dance World Cup (DWC) is taking place every year in a different city in
a different country. In many countries of the world there are national competitions
with the same rules as those of DWC, and only the winners of these competitions
are admitted to participate in DWC at all.
So far the Dance World Cup Association has members in Jersey, Italy, Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Poland, France, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine,
Russia, Moldavia , Turkey, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Nigeria.
Many other countries are working with us as well and are sending dance students

However so far there is no official qualification competition taking place
in Norway. Therefor for the DWC competition 2010 which will take place on
the island Sardinia, Italy June 30 - July 4, 2010 we have provided a special
offer for Norwegian schools that are interested.
As for 2010 we are planning to organise a national Norwegian dance competition
somewhere in Norway most probably taking place in early April. As soon as
dates and venue will be fixed, we will inform you accordingly. Only the winners
of this competition will then be admitted to participate in DWC 2010 which
will take place in Sardinia, Italy.
Your entries should be made by E-mail , and closing date for entries for this
special offer for Norwegian schools will be April 15, 2010.
